Branded retailer in Orchard seeks Accounts cum HR Assistant

Accounts cum HR Assistant

Accounts Duties:

  • Able to handle full or partial accounts
  • GST Reporting
  • Handling Accounts Payable, Intercompany Accounts and performing all accounting related functions;
  • Assist in month end closing and updating of reports and schedules
  • Assist in payroll processing and commission calculation for retail staffs
  • Update and maintain of employee database, records and reports.
  • Assist in compensation, benefits and reimbursements
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation
  • Experience in import, export documentation & LC procedures;
  • Prepare daily &weekly sales reports;
  • Update inventory system for purchases and sales;
  • Input vouchers to the accounting system;
  • Assist and support the accountant in whatever aspects; as well as perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

 

Human Resource Duties:

  • Must be knowledgeable with the Singapore government regulations in order to prepare staff salary and commission for part time and full time staff and related of work pass;
  • Prepare employment contract and records of annual/medical leave and claims for shops staff;
  • Update and maintain personnel files; employee database, records and reports
  • Perform daily operational duties such as answering telephone calls, photocopying, mail management, dealing with suppliers, etc.

 

Requirements:

  • N levels/ O levels/ ITE with at least 2-3 years’ experience in trading/ retail / wholesale.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • An independent worker with good interpersonal and communication skills. Positive, initiative, self-motivated, and ability to work as a team
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadline
  • Able to start work immediately, preferably with a short notice
  • Singaporean,SPR &Malaysian PRs preferred
  • Able to speak Mandarin & Cantonese will be advantages
